The MacArthur Library Media Center is a destination for learning. There are laptops, iPad charging stations, a green screen studio, an innovation lab and over 12,000 print & digital resources for community use. Besides being open 30 minutes before the start of each school day, the Mac LMC is available as an opportunity to extend learning during every lunch period for book check-out, quiet study, homework assistance and device charging.
The MacArthur Library Media Center Teacher/Library Media Center Director:Mrs McWilliams is constantly: Encouraging a love of READING! Instilling the practices of responsible digital citizenship by instructing and insisting on students selecting appropriate technology tools and content for personalized learning. Supporting an environment of blended learning that reflects exploration, collaboration and learning approaches that empower students with opportunities to investigate creative solutions to questions and assignments. Developing pathways for students to seek out effective routes to become producers of information resulting in the development of critical thinking skills and promoting information literacy.
